When writing a rock opera, it seems much easier to not be weighed down by actual facts so we never watched Wingspan. It was easy to imagine that post Beatles, the stressors of being newly married, adding kids, starting a new band, and fighting Allen Klein over a well-deserved paycheck. That may really test the bonds. Would you believe they didn’t have money? That they started a new band? That they lived on a farm? Yes, indeed. We believe.
