Do you know how the radio stays a little longer on the overcast days As you drive further from this hilltop town The song seems to go on and on, you wonder what makes the signal so strong When you’re on the wrong side of the dial And it’s getting more wrong with every mile. I must be on the wrong side of the dial How can I go back when I know I’m wrong? You’re traveling with me even though I’m gone, I bet we’re listening to the very same song It must be the stupidest one today I drive up the hill and into the fog, the running lights on the side of the road Well I need more than that to find my way And I’m getting wrong with every mile. I must be on the wrong side of the dial How can I go back when I know I’m wrong? Maybe I see things you can't see or maybe it's the other way for me It's all I can do to just keep a hand on the wheel The other's itching to twist that dial, hear a different song for a little while but it's far too late to back out of the deal Maybe that was all I had, that’s why I had to go Some things took time, but with time you never know Getting more wrong with every mile I must be on the wrong side of the dial How can I go back? How can I go back? How can I go back when I know I’m wrong

Radio On 04:08
With the radio on I drive my car With the radio on down to the bar With the radio on I go to bed With the radio on I lose my head With the radio on Why does she look like a kitty kat Why does the boy do his hair like that Now I lay me down to sleep With the radio on my soul to keep With the radio on It turns me on I turn it off I turn it on it turns me off Tick tick tick tick tick tick tock Watch the hands go round the clock Spin the dial from left to right Say your prayers kiss mom good night With the radio on Jackie left me here alone Sister turned my heart to stone Sasha kept my child my inside Tell me why I never cried Pictures of you upon the wall Pictures of me begin to fall One frail body for one so fair Let me sleep inside your hair With the radio on With the radio on (It turns me on I turn it off I turn it on it turns me off Tick tick tick tick tick tick tock Watch the hands go round the clock)

Radio Kill 02:13
Radio kill I got the blinders on and the stations turned off Stereo thrill I’ve gotten quite amused Seeing thru you Radio kill you listened wrong with all those radio songs Emission thrill I get a thrill Killing you too I grew up in the AM I had the radio on Used to get a lover Twiseing under cover To the low fi sound When I listen to you I seem to lose control And I’m thinking I want to kill The voice of rock and roll Radio kill Your lines are drawn and I’m gonna cross Sterero thrill I get a thrill Killing you Radio Kill

about

A micro(super)group formed from DC/VA area bands Bombpop, Cowlick Lucy and the Grandsons (of the Pioneers). Their first EP is themed on the radio and features songs of their friends of local (to Virginia) repute... Will Croxton, Dominic Carpin, Karl Straub. I Like Dinner added great interpretations of classics by Wilco and the Replacements.
